[ This has just happened. When Nikolai reaches Alina's room, he's uncharacteristically unbalanced. His movements are quick, uncontrolled, almost desperate. His eyes have something haunted in them, but she'll only notice that if she's quick, because the minute he sees her, he's rushing to pull her tightly into his arms hold her vice-like against his chest. His heart is racing, and he can't catch a breath.
He only starts to settle once she's in his arms, real and solid and alive. His eyes shut. It hadn't been real. He needs to banish it now, needs to reclaim his calm or he'll be useless to these people. He doesn't say anything to explain, doesn't even try because he doesn't know how. ]

This is alright, yeah? You haven’t answered. You’re all right? Really hope you’re not doing worse. I'd do anything to make you feel better. And I know how, too.
I'm sorry if this seems sudden and frankly odd but I need to confirm something.

When you were brought back to Anja from your homeworld and sucked into that bridge that dropped us onto the planet, do you remember seeing anything strange? Like a massive creature that looked oddly similar to Green's team logo.
[ It's well into the hours of darkness when Sturmhond knocks at Alina's door. In the morning, he'll be setting out to map Sector 7, and she won't be with him. Ostensibly, he's here to say goodbye.
In reality, it's far more than that.
The door is opened by a haroomba, who apparently speaks nothing but French. Sturmhond stares at it for a moment, but answers back in French, and asks it to fetch Alina. While it disappears off to get her, he leans back against Korol's shoulder. The bahari leans into him and gazes forward into the rover, looking for Koroleva. ]
[And sure enough, Garrus is sitting on the sand, far enough up that the water isn't actually going to reach him, but close enough that if the little telusa he's watching winds up in danger he could help. It's not his smartest idea ever, but the thing needs the water and he's not going to deny it that for his own comfort.
That, and maybe he can wear away at his issues with water somewhat.
