They came to you. If you hadn't said yes, they'd have found a way to make you say yes. Your planet was in danger before you even saw they were there.

She throws her arms around him to hug him tightly. ] Yeah... you're right. They had started to say that when I agreed....

[ He does hate them. He has to reconcile that feeling, now. But deep in his heart, he still does.

It's just that Alina's his friend. And he really doesn't think there was any way to help her ending up here. At least she got full disclosure before she agreed. At least she wasn't stupid enough to say yes without thinking.
