When you're not fighting an invisible, surprise enemy less than a day after a break and 5 days after promotion. An enemy that even our Instructors cannot discover.

It's not a thought, it's a criticism. Own it if you're going to say it. And it's one we are very well aware of. You are new, I have been here since this began. The first man who died was my longest rovermate and taught me to drive.
FROM: starkov.alina@cdc.org
You cannot shame me more than I already feel when I promised to protect this crew as family.

The training was scheduled before this incident, and unfortunately they are required.
back it up. you're taking things too personally over something someone new said over text
i'm not shaming anyone. take it as criticism if you want to, but criticism normally isnt an attack either

10 days is more than enough time to at least give an idea of what people need to do when theyre assigned a ranked position
FROM: oak.green@cdc.org
a manual or what to do in case of an emergency. groups & chain of command need to be kept up in emergencies, kind of like a fire drill. so that when the inevitable comes people are at least prepared
FROM: oak.green@cdc.org
this isnt "you didnt figure out what to do, shame on you".
sorry about your loss though. probably doesnt mean much from someone new but. sorry
FROM: oak.green@cdc.org
also you told me you voluteered for the training???
I apologize. This is just not the first complaint I have heard, and I am exhausted already. [ And still in mourning. ] It is not your fault. And your words do mean something still, new or not. [ She's been advocating for the newbies as being one of the crew. She doesn't want to separate them as not crew. ]

Unfortunately, I have no control over manuals or preparation. In fact, given from how my Instructors are acting I do not think this was common enough to have come up so early.

And we had others things occurring between then to Selena. We have organized, though. We are organizing still. It is late but it is coming.
FROM: starkov.alina@cdc.org
I was not required it, but I felt I've needed it. I haven't gone yet, and only will when I'm no longer working on this.

It's kind of how life is. No one taught me everything about leading at home. A lot of time I just tried. We just try here too.

Extra training to better yourself. It's supposed to be hard to cope with.

normally id agree that leading isnt a learned skill, but theres a limit to "just trying" especially when people show up dead
its not your fault but considering how intimidating people make things out to be i expected more structure
just a thought
FROM: oak.green@cdc.org
that sounds fun too. not helpful atm, but bettering yourselfs nice

There is more structure.

And we are thinking about it. It's a little late to say you should have done this. We're adjusting. What more can be done.
Thank you.
